Data Engineer, Officer/ Senior Officer

1. Job Purpose:

• Builds and maintains MB Life's datamarts, data pipelines and integrations, and supports them in production, so that business users, reporting and analytics receive accurate and timely data.

2. Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain datamarts and data pipelines: develop ETL/ELT jobs and data models for business domains (policy, customer, agent, claims) following the team's engineering standards, with testing and documentation.
• Develop data platform components and integrations (non-infra), such as ingestion from core systems and partners, reusable pipeline frameworks and data quality checks.
• Provide production issue support and pipeline maintenance: monitor daily jobs, investigate and fix failures and data issues within SLA, and improve pipeline stability and performance.
• Support intake and data backbone tasks: analyze and estimate data requests, deliver assigned tasks on time and keep the Lead informed of progress and risks.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field.
3–6 years in data engineering (ETL/ELT, data warehouse/datamart); insurance, banking or financial services experience is an advantage.
Cloud data certification (Azure / AWS / GCP) is an advantage.
